She lost her husband, kids, home, self-respect and many friendships. You either slavishly support them or you face loss of friends and family, loss of jobs and careers, face doxxing and subsequent online abuse, rape and death threats (mostly directed at women/terfs/lesbians - trans-exclusionary radical feminists). Imagine that the black community responded to racism this way. It sure as hell wouldn't make people inclined to support them. But somehow treating women/trans dissenters with incredibly abusive behaviour gets a pass.
This is because this is not a movement about justice or fairness or equality. It's about destroying women's rights, accessing vulnerable children and indoctrinating them into the trans-humanist cult, crushing lesbians and gays and creating draconian laws which silence any debate. All designed to create a compliant population of trans people face a future of dependency on expensive drugs making the pharmaceutical companies even richer.

I'm a long timer too. First awareness about 2014 working one job with an intimidating bull dog of a man who claimed to be female and who liked to hang out in the women's toilets when the teen volunteer girls used them. Oh, and he couldn't do the job either because he was magically, with his built-up guns, unable to even lift as much as we women did. But you couldn't do anything about it because that would be sexism or something.
Boys weren't raised to be "male protectors" or defenders, after the Baby Boomers, and not all of them were either. They weren't even raised to try and support a family.
One thing making it harder for some of us to talk about the harms of the trans movement is that we have friends and relatives with trans children, and some of these children are extremely vulnerable (e.g., multiple suicide attempts and hospitalizations). Even if our loved ones were to agree that their children are victims of a social movement rather than empowered by that movement, it would make no difference in practice, because not to go along (at least to some extent) with their child's wants is unthinkable when the kid is already barely hanging on.
One friend of mine had a 17 year old trans child that she had full custody of, but she was refusing them hormones. The court decided to give the other parent (who had been AWOL most of the child's life) full custody on the grounds that denying the hormone treatment was harming mental health and increasing the risk of suicide. "I'll kill myself if you don't" is the trap some of these kids have their parents in.
The kids claim that their mental issues are entirely due to gender dysphoria, and this reminds me a lot of when I went through a punk phase in high school for a couple of years. We all claimed our misery was due to the bullshit conformist culture we were forced to live in. That was a lie. In retrospect we were miserable kids to start with, and that's what led us to that subculture. But we would have denied that vociferously.
The basic problem here is that a major public health crisis—what else do we call a sudden several-thousand-percent uptick in gender dysphoria?—as a civil rights struggle. The penny dropped when I saw some printed BLM signs; these aboriginal participants thought the march was about them. Evidently, whoever organised this march, and they did a good job of it, the city was full of people, I'd never seen so many at any march in my sleepy little peripheral capital. So the organisers must have contacted the Aboriginal associations to join in. The people I spoke to did not know anything about the US BLM movement and the origins of the meme...

Planned Parenthood, Kaiser Permanente provide immediate access to children seeking puberty blockers or hormone treatment without parental oversight. The schools are complicit in teaching transgender ideology and supporting children to change their names and sexual identity at school without informing the parents. The children are being influenced by social media and in many schools a large percentage of girls are coming forward stating they wish to transition from female to male, according to Shrier this is a result of contagion effect from interacting on social media...there appears to be people on social media trolling for these girls and telling them exactly how to transition. This is a national emergency amongst our young people and families. Please keep sharing this information. I am 77 but would be hard pressed to have had to deal with this while my children were growing up especially with the threat of the State of California possibly removing my children from their home.. You cannot make this stuff up, we live in an altered universe where everything is being challenged and girls will not have the opportunity to become women if they submit to this transgender tyranny.

We do have words for the absurdity of labeling believers in “only women can have babies” as transgender-hating: bizarre. Even the fact that believers in the only women can have babies claim deserve to be attacked is indicative of a huge violation of common sense. What is wrong with these people? And yes, “depravity” is an appropriate word.

Just look at all the liberals on social media who fight for children to be transgender. They want pedophilia normalized, girls/women just don’t exist in their eyes anymore hence the move for all the men in women’s sports, restrooms etc., they’ve removed parents from the decision making when it comes to protecting their children and transitioning them no matter how dangerous the puberty blockers are and then there is the horrific surgeries that can never make them the opposite sex, but only destroys them and their psyche even more. They don’t care about the remains of what is left of these deranged children/adults. That’s now their problem as they succeeded in mutilating and destroying them. I’ve listened to transmen who discovered after all of that they were just gay. They asked why no one EVER tried to talk about their feelings, etc. This is definitely a movement by Lucifer and satanists and they surround us and are prevalent everywhere.

Yes more complex than a sentence or two. I was pointing out some parallels. There is no rational/ humanistic justification for discrimination against women, black, "unvaccinated" or any other group. These activist movements have gone well beyond attempts at eliminating discrimination and caused much harm to those they were purporting to help as well as plenty of "collateral" damage.

Back in 2020, when BLM was still very much "in" the daily news-feed while Covid was about to replace it in Australia, a BLM march was organised in the city-centre on a Saturday morning, all capital cities of Australia participated at same time, if I recall correctly. I found out about it on the Saturday morning on my way to the market. There were bunches of people, of all types, but a very high proportion of Australian aborigines, whole families with kids in tow, all happy and festive about something, not a group that normally attends marches. I stopped to chat with some of them, asking what's it all about? they told me it's about Blacks. The penny dropped when I saw some printed BLM signs; these aboriginal participants thought the march was about them. Evidently, whoever organised this march, and they did a good job of it, the city was full of people, I'd never seen so many at any march in my sleepy little peripheral capital. So the organisers must have contacted the Aboriginal associations to join in. The people I spoke to did not know anything about the US BLM movement and the origins of the meme...

The feminist movement despite what you say was the thin end of the wedge for this world we find ourselves in today. They started with setting the biggest "oppressed group" they could think of against the men and especially fathers that kept our Western societies relatively decent and that was women so they pushed that and sadly far too many women, yourself included clearly, fell for it so that they could feel "special" and as Truth 101 notes the other groups looking on took notes and so when they too wanted "special privileges" the feminists had already done the work for them. Raymond, see her web site and download her book Transgender Empire written in the 70's and reissued in 1991, still extremely enlightening and eye opening to the moral ethical dilemma of the transsexual/gender phenomena. Abigail Shrier's book also highlights the living hell this issue is for parents and their children...I live in Ca and the legislation around this issue can lead to parents losing their child if they deny them gender affirming treatment. Planned Parenthood, Kaiser Permanente provide immediate access to children seeking puberty blockers or hormone treatment without parental oversight. The schools are complicit in teaching transgender ideology and supporting children to change their names and sexual identity at school without informing the parents. The children are being influenced by social media and in many schools a large percentage of girls are coming forward stating they wish to transition from female to male, according to Shrier this is a result of contagion effect from interacting on social media...there appears to be people on social media trolling for these girls and telling them exactly how to transition. This is a national emergency amongst our young people and families. Please keep sharing this information. I am 77 but would be hard pressed to have had to deal with this while my children were growing up especially with the threat of the State of California possibly removing my children from their home.. You cannot make this stuff up, we live in an altered universe where everything is being challenged and girls will not have the opportunity to become women if they submit to this transgender tyranny.

Thx for your response...My husband and I have been long time supporters of the ACLU...in their last magazine there were 4 articles on the transgender issue...they see TG as a human rights issue...we no longer fund the ACLU...All trusted former institutions have been infected or coopted, possibly by their fat cat donors or the WEF...when a therapist can lose her license for failing to comply with "affirmation" therapy when dealing with these patients it becomes clear that there is an agenda to harm our young people...See Jordan Peterson, a Canadian therapists' interview with Abigail Shrier, he will not treat children or teens because he will not comply with the demand that he provide affirmation therapy. If he did treat this population and did not provide this service he could lose his license.
