Sure is. I will be a couple of hours away. At first, I was going to go to NC or TN but it´s too far of a drive(3K miles), especially with no work lined up.
North central part of the state probably still good. And I do mean “north”, not the area that’s been so developed 100 miles south of the BC border. A lot of my classmates stayed around, even with the influx of hippies in the ‘70s am pretty sure there are more people sympathetic to your POV than clowns. Not sure what the scamdemic did though, heard a lot of rich folks from the coast bought houses the Canadians had to sell because they were locked up in their own hell.
