"You never really know the battle that some people live." Very true words.
I have discovered this maxim in action through sharing in the hardships of others, others who had strengths and vulnerabilities I myself did not share (for good or not). We are all unique in our own way. It would be prudent to remember this while viewing those that have passed in this slaughter.
Each person deserved better than to "die suddenly" or "die unexpectedly". Their age is immaterial. For those that took the shot, they were all taken before their time.
I do not know which I found more wrenching, the young woman who died "kicking and screaming" or the even younger women who died above her in this roster, who wrote the beautiful poem meant to comfort those who loved her but which stated the pain of living overwhelmed her will to live.
I have lived on this earth some decades and have NEVER heard of of people in their twenties and thirties dying in their sleep or of diabetes. Nor in their forties.
NO CAUSE OF DEATH REPORTED or
CAUSE OF DEATH FOR THIS AGE NEVER REPORTED BEFORE 2021
I pray the need for this substack to cease,
but thank you with all my heart for doing this hard, grim work that no one else is doing so comprehensively.
