It's extra shocking to see the female thalidomide scandal activist in this list; I hope she didn't die from the shot. Given the fact that she's the ultimate example of what the pharmaceutical industry is capable of, read: dropping thalidomide on the market as safe and effective, only to find out within a handful of years that it led to horribly disfigured babies, she "should" have avoided the shots like the plague. Not trying to be pointlessly harsh here, but I hope y'all catch my drift.
