It just carries on but no-one in power wants to find out why? That in itself speaks volumes. Have you ever used the 'died suddenly' or 'died unexpectedly' search terms in say 2018 or 2019 for comparison purposes? Would be interesting to see.
I noticed that phrase too. Also noticed a good few were on holidays in Spain etc. so maybe the strenuous flight altitude level plays up on their hearts?
Ive been getting these emails for months now from Mark but usually just look at the first few famous people, I never realised the Irish list, for one week, was so so fucking long! wtf
There's also Ireland Excess Deaths keeping a record. (Slightly different counting method, so slightly different numbers - but we both find the same trend). https://irelandexcessdeaths.com/
I think in UK roughly 8k-15k people die each week so 10% is1-2k per week. Over a year thats 50-100k people that shouldnt have died. How many airbuses is that? like 3 or 4 whole aircraft of normal folks falling from the sky.every.week.and that just England.
One obit describes brief illness as the cause of death, but also includes that "he died in his sleep." Brief illness is simply a catch-all phrase for the many forms a sudden death can take.
The other day I noticed a reply from one of the other readers here on Mark's substack, mentioning advertisements from companies offering 'budget' cremations for $995 as if it's a deal on a family pack of Oreo cookies. Well, the same is happening here in The Netherlands: well-known brands that both offer 'tailor made burials and cremations' (complete with children singing heart wrenching songs in the background) are now advertising on TV like never before. Back in the days you saw a commercial like that every once in a blue moon; now it's every effing day! Competition has increased! Guess what else has 'increased' in the death industry...
As always, thank you Mark and team for keeping track of these losses.
Note: as Bellanaleck is in Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, the entry for Christopher Oldcroft belongs in the United Kingdom section.

Last time we checked it had quadrupled. Off the chart.
That doesn't surprise me shocking as it is.
Why are people with hearts of gold dying?
Cold hearted are surviving?

Yes, the numbers dying in Ireland are (sadly) striking
We're counting and charting the raw numbers from RIP.ie each month.

What is the % in excess mortality? Like 10%?
