In Ireland, our simple count of the number of death notices published on the popular obituary website RIP.ie suggests the numbers are not only up, but also trending up. Since Jan 2021. Perhaps some easing of the rate of that upward trend in recent months but the trend is still upward (not yet leveled out) and raw numbers remain well above pre-2020 numbers.
