Stacy Wakefield, wife of late Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday, the team announced in a press release.
Both Wakefields had been diagnosed with cancer last year. Tim passed away on Oct. 1, the final day of the 2023 season. The 57-year-old knuckleballer had been battling brain cancer, the news of which only became public the week before.
The Wakefields were beloved members of the Red Sox organization, known for their extensive philanthropic efforts and generosity. They leave behind a son, Trevor, and a daughter, Brianna.
The Red Sox issued the following statement on behalf of the Wakefield family:
“It is with deep sadness that we share that our beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and aunt, Stacy, passed away today at her home in Massachusetts. She was surrounded by her family and dear friends, as well as her wonderful caretakers and nurses. The loss is unimaginable, especially in the wake of losing Tim just under five months ago. Our hearts are beyond broken.
“We will remember Stacy as a strong, loving, thoughtful and kind person, who was as down-to-earth as they come. We feel so lucky to have had her in our lives, and we take comfort in the fact that she will be reunited with Tim, the love of her life.
“We would like to thank all of Stacy’s doctors, nurses and caretakers who helped her from diagnosis to today—we are eternally grateful for your unmatched care and support. And to all of you who have sent well wishes over these last several months, we truly appreciate your kindness.
“We kindly ask for privacy at this time as we try to process this profound loss.”
The NPCs are completely oblivious and I bet they won't notice even when (not if) the death rate from jab increases 100X.
In fact, I think everything is going according to plan, even though a bit slower than expected. The psychopaths are working to push things faster now and all the NPCs are on board.
My suggestion is to stop wasting so much time online and do something. There are basically 3 ways to deal with pain/suffering/death:
- The NPC way is to ignore it and keep obeying. If your life is the same as it was 4 years ago, congratulations! You are an NPC and you have no free will.
- Hedonism. Accept that we are (mostly) powerless and try to enjoy life while you can. If you have money set aside, now is the time to spend them - the inflation will make them worthless in a decade or so. Quit your job, find a hobby, get drunk etc. For example, if you are jabbed and you start smoking 2 packs a day, you STILL have a higher chance of dying because of the jab than because of smoking.
- Stoicism. Accept the things you cannot change (like human nature) but control the things you can (your mind, part of your life etc). Build a network for the future, find ways to fight back, retire from the maddening world - whatever works for you.
Ahhh, yes. Privacy. That would have been wonderful to have about three years ago, now wouldn’t it? Upon being asked personal questions about one’s vaccine status, one simply might have been allowed to reply, “That’s private. Please respect my privacy.” Too bad.

I feel so terrible for their kids, losing both their parents in that way, one so soon after the other.
Oh wow!
Thanks for sharing, Ripple. This is too real...
No, it's not real enough.
Don't assume that everyone thinks like you.
