I sent this one on Jan 6, about a 25 yo Danish boxer, Daniel Nkole, who died suddenly on 26 December. I don't know why the ones I send never make it to the article, so now I will stop trying.
"We have been very affected by it - also in the boxing club. Daniel was a very nice and young man who could take care of others. He died way, way too early," says Arne Lund Christensen.
"He died very suddenly. I am in shock that he is gone. It takes some time to process and I am confronted with it all the time when I see a boxing ring. Then I get those images in my head.'
Daniel Nkole was hospitalized several times with corona, but the cause of death is unknown.
"We have no idea why this happened. It's so tragic. Both for the boys from the boxing club he should have celebrated New Year's with, who don't understand anything, but also for his girlfriend and family, who are in a shock-like state right now,' says Arne Lund Christensen.
