Too much truth on Substack-----there are consequences.

It’s really amazing what is now being exposed….and they can’t handle it ~~~ getting closer!

I agree, SHARON. This is desperate!

I'm guessing AI can probably do a tsunami of that type of thing.

I don't think AI is responsible for this kind of chaos / harassment/ evil. It is people who are doing this stuff, almost certainly in the pay of the innumerable "intelligence" agencies. For a glimpse into some of what they do, go to www.targetedjustice.com. I am one of the hundreds of thousands of their victims in the United States. This kind of deviltry is happening worldwide.

Maybe it's both. Maybe people program a bot, AI, etc., to impersonate accounts, and to leave various comments on XYZ sites. Set and forget, let people argue with a bot, and have to fix things, waste time, energy and spirit.

T. Bird,

Great name, by the way! Yeah, it comes as little surprise that the infiltrators will go "fishing" in the most attractive areas of the river. No sense in dropping in where certainly no fish can be expected to be hanging out, right? This world is full of not only deceived souls, fully convinced that they are NOT deceived, but is also polluted with recruits toward that end. There was an agenda formed by the evil side of things set in place a very long time ago, and what we now see breaking ground is the mushroom (the fruiting portion of a fungus) while below the surface, it has been actively growing, spreading, consuming and occupying a vast portion of the property it has claimed.

The analogy is a poor one, in that mycelium is actually beneficial to the soil, whereas evil infiltrators are usually corrupting, unless a whistle-blower. Like a Truth Pigeon?

I've read stories backed up with evidence that some of the vaunted "algorithms" at Google and Twitter are actually 1000+-person brigades in India going through posts by hand to delete, down rank etc.

There you go, and of course they would (though "shenanigans" is much too friendly a word for such actions, makes them sound like kind of fun 'rascals' 😉).

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its power to repress dissent, for the truth is the moral enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the state.” – Joseph Goebbels – The Father of Propaganda

Lies, Lies, Lies, BS, BS, BS, Propaganda, Propaganda, and it goes on and on and on!

For a couple years now I have thought that online alternative news is on shaky ground, and the only way forward will be to unplug, go analog, as in fire up the presses and create print newspapers. Find advertisers to help fund, get volunteers to distribute to anywhere that people congregate, from laundromats to bus stations, campuses, anywhere. Then give all the Substack writers a space to contribute. Otherwise, the big AI driven fakes will reap havoc on everything. Is it in fact already happening? Now is the time to do this while the internet is still chugging along and before the censors shut every truthteller down. Going under the radar of the digital censors will make it very difficult to stop, and it will reach a whole new subset of the population that might never hear what is really going on in the world. There is one alt news paper in Canada called Druthers or something. It has hundreds of thousands of print papers every month and is nation wide. This needs to be happening everywhere.

Expand full comment

I agree. You could also hand mail these newsletters to people who donate the cost of paper and stamps. That's the way we used to do it. It worked.

Expand full comment

Exactly. I looked into how Druthers does it in Canada and they can print a full newspaper copy for a buck or 2 each in volume. Get people to subscribe to buy a copy, 5 copies, 10 or 20 and they can drop off a copy here and there all over where they live or go to school or work. I myself, living on a tight income could easily swing $20 a month to distribute to places where they might get read. USPS media rates are very cheap to do bulk mailouts and once established there would be advertisement revenue. Someday there is going to be some sort of internet outage (shrouded in fear porn), and when it returns in maybe a week or 2 you are going to find you need an digital ID to log onto it. Trap set and trap sprung. Wouldn't it be nice to be ahead of their curve, and use the internet while it is still available to aid in establishing these print papers? They could be just small local papers, or state or national. Size doesn't matter, it's the message contained that needs to be heard.

Yes, very much so.

I have a tiny number of subscribers, deliberately, yet I had an issue earlier this week with my post just disappearing. It eventually turned up, a few hours later.

I have been concerned about plagiarists, posing as AI, so I monitor MS Word and Acrobat, disabling the AI function which self-starts. Curious to know Substack’s response.

On the one hand it's very possible that this is a psyop, and on the other hand, it's to be expected with, and therefore a sign of, success. Many people in the public eye endure multiple and even daily attempts to scam their followers. It's annoying as heck. Who falls for this stuff? People who don't read too carefully, the very naive (usually very young), and the cognitively challenged (most often elderly). It's sad to see this. But, well.

This is true. Most people can't wrap their head around this yet. Bigtree did a show the other day on how powerful, and completely out of control AI is currently, with its own access to the internet as well as giving it the ability to write its own code. Pandora's box. I believe ultimately the only way to survive this is to go Amish and completely disconnect from online digital content. Once we are forced off this tit, what was once a free and open panacea of information and that has now become an Orwellian nightmare we might have a chance. But disconnect will be the only way as regulation can't save us at this stage. We will need to reintroduce ourselves to hard copy, printing presses, desktop publishing software (offline), distribute everywhere. Maybe it would be a better world without the easy to be spied upon internet. Somehow we survived without it before the 21st century!

Also there is a lot of speculation around the mass rollout of 5G as a way of culling populations with harmful radiation. I don't want to minimize that, but I believe the real reason is for bandwidth, wireless bandwidth. Imagine a world where tiny cameras, smaller than a cell phone camera are produced by the billions. Then imagine them everywhere. They have to be on a wireless technology to not be spotted as wires would instantly give them away. To use them for controlling populations they would need to transmit massive amounts of data so vivid facial recognition data would be instantly sent to data hubs located all over the world where AI would scan for not just for ID'ing who someone is, but facial expressions looking for clues to pre-crime. Once these billionaire assholes get it in them that they can be little gods over the ever growing suspicious nature of the masses they will unleash it. There is no other reason I can think of for such a massive wireless network to be built under our noses than for surveillance. There are much more efficient ways to kill us than with cell towers.

Me as well. Find ways to enjoy life in the moment is all I can say to anyone finding what lays ahead disturbing. Who knows, this may be exactly what is needed to break free of this cycle as this dystopia has been brewing just under the surface for many many years and only now has the tide fallen enough to see what once was obscured
