I've never vaxxed any of my dogs or cats over the years and I've even been pretty sparse on the worm doses they get too unless I see a specific problem. I've never unnecessarily neutered them either unless I have ones of the opposite sex living together. My dogs do live older although cancer usually gets them in the end. But the minimum age they've reached in recent years is 11 for a collie which was quite young to 15 1/2 for other collies and mixed breeds I've had. I've always vaxxed and wormed my horses religiously over the years but have also stopped that now as well. I don't trust anything coming out of pharma these days

The unvaxed kitten I got in 1994 lived to the age of 21. My next three cats are all unvaxed. the eight-year-old has never seen a vet. I'm starting to rethink neutering as well . I’m the same way! I hate most people, with the exception of family and a small group of friends. But my entire family is vaccinated, so I don’t foresee them being around for the long haul. I've never vaxxed any of my dogs or cats over the years and I've even been pretty sparse on the worm doses they get too unless I see a specific problem. I've never unnecessarily neutered them either unless I have ones of the opposite sex living together. My dogs do live older although cancer usually gets them in the end. But the minimum age they've reached in recent years is 11 for a collie which was quite young to 15 1/2 for other collies and mixed breeds I've had. I've always vaxxed and wormed my horses religiously over the years but have also stopped that now as well. I don't trust anything coming out of pharma these days

At some level they do know. But that knowledge is too unpleasant, too ugly, too challenging for most people to confront. I see this in my own family, as I'm sure most reading this will also relate to. Opening the eyes and seeing through the illusion is like a conversion or revolution for the individual. Once you get a glimpse behind the curtain it becomes necessary to look in the mirror and ask yourself a question: "Now that I have seen that, am I prepared to leap from the comfort of my life within the Illusion and take on the struggle of becoming a warrior for the destruction of the illusion I am leaving? ". It really is that level of upheaval that is required when you open your eyes. It is just too scary and lonely for most people to do. It is too much. My wife and I once took our bicycles to the area and cycled to Pooh Sticks Bridge to do the obligatory stick race although we both agreed afterwards we should have bought our own sticks as the area was denuded of them!

Thanks Renee! I'm retired to and my pets are my life now. (beats most human ones!) Everything important I have learned in this process called living, I learned from animals. All they want is to give love and receive love in return. Most think I am eccentric. Most don't realize I have something they never will have. Unconditional love. Works for me!
And LOL I am a cat magnate. Never met one I didn't like. Had a kitten rescue for 3 years and all taken as strays within a 5 mile radius of my house. 150 in 3 years and all adopted. At one point had 34 of my own but down to 10 now. Can't beat a cat for a best friend!

I’m the same way! I hate most people, with the exception of family and a small group of friends. But my entire family is vaccinated, so I don’t foresee them being around for the long haul. I’d much rather spend my time with animals. Like you said, they are much smarter than people. And as Tag said above, they just want to give love and receive love in return. They truly do love us unconditionally. And they don’t judge us or talk back! 😀

Nice cop-out, but like it or not you're stuck with humanity. There is no nice isolated place in nature to hide anymore. growing up in Brooklyn the cops were usually really nice to kids, protective and kind, they always looked after us, made sure we were safe.
