Sudden death of child in Bancroft area

The Bancroft OPP is investigating the sudden death of a 23-month-old child. On June 23, 2022, at about 3:45 p.m., officers were called to a parking lot on Monck Road for a child that was located with no vital signs. The child was transported to the hospital by ambulance and shortly after, pronounced deceased. An investigation was commenced by the OPP Bancroft Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch. The OPP investigation, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario, is continuing. A post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death. The identity of the deceased is being withheld at this time.

A mysterious drowning:
Teen swimmer found dead in Last Mountain Lake

Another swimmer in southern Saskatchewan has been found dead. According to RCMP, a call came in around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday about a swimmer in Last Mountain lake who went missing near the public beach at Buena Vista. Not only did the Lumsden and Moose Jaw RCMP send out members, but their underwater recovery team came out as well as the local fire and EMS crews, and locals from the area to help search.
Later on in the day, the swimmer – a 19-year-old man – was found dead in the water near where he was last seen swimming. RCMP said they are looking into it as a sudden death investigation. A teen went missing in Buffalo Pound Lake the weekend before and was found dead as well.

Samantha was 33 years old.

William "Billy" Wade, 55

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our dear William Wade, "Billy" who died suddenly at the age of 55 in Kitchener, Ontario, on June 15, 2022. Billy's infectious hearty laugh and great sense of humor will be missed by all. He had an excellent work ethic and keen eye for attention to detail which is what made his painting such quality workmanship. A good athlete, particularly in soccer for the game he cherished most. He would never say no to a rock concert and has an extensive list of musicians he's seen over the years. Billy would give you the shirt off his back, assist with anything you needed him to do, and gave compliments when due. Goodbye for now.

Sudbury, ON - When Memere died suddenly, it came as a shock – probably because she was such a tough woman that we all imagined she would live forever. She had a big voice, but an even bigger heart. Her world was her “grandbabies” and she was fiercely protective of them, and of all her family. Memere was a huge presence in our lives and her unexpected departure creates a tremendous void for her husband, Rene Ross, and her three daughters – Monique VanBergen, Denise Losani and Joanne Ross. Memere will be forever missed by her six beloved grandchildren, Branden & Brittany Lindley, Spencer VanBergen, and Aiden, Reegan & Carter Purvis.

The Mexican National Team announced that the former soccer player and goalkeeper coach of the Tricolor Minor Teams, Alberto Gurrola Castro, lost his life this Saturday, June 25, 2022.
It was through social networks that the Mexican National Team lamented the sensitive death of the 29-year-old former Mexican soccer player, who had good flashes in the Atlas Basic Forces, where he later played the U-20 World Cup.
The well-known poet in Kosovo, Xhevdet Bajraj, dies

The Kosovar poet Xhevdet Bajraj, who, since the time of the war in Kosovo, was living as a refugee in Mexico, has died at the age of 62. The news of the poet's death was given by his brother, Fadil Bajraj, through a Facebook post.
"Mortuary announcement: Today, after a short illness, my brother, Xhevdet Bajraj, passed away. "We will inform you about the date of the funeral in the following days", he wrote.
Bajraj has been granted refugee status thanks to the International Writers' Parliament.

Man passes away on flight to T&T

Police are investigating a report of a sudden death on an aircraft. The deceased has been identified as Moonilal Manie, 68. Police were told that at about 9 am, Manie was on a flight from John F Kennedy Airport to Piarco, when he went to the lavatory. However, when he did not return, relatives went to check on him and realised he was unresponsive. A doctor who was on board the flight at the time attempted to render assistance, but Manie was pronounced dead at 10:07am.
When the flight landed, officials took relevant information and ordered a post-mortem to take place. It was reported that there was no suspicion of foul play or marks of violence about the body regarding the death of the passenger. Police were also told he suffered from multiple comorbidities.

Panamanian representative dies due to a heart attack

The representative of the village of Finca Las 30, Antonio Medina Fuentes, died today due to a heart attack when he was transferred to the Raúl Davila hospital. Fuentes, from the Panameñista party, was the first elected representative in this corregimiento.

The former governor of Bolívar, Libardo Simanca Torres, dies

It was learned that the former president had severe chest pain last night, for which he was referred to the Medihelp clinic in Bocagrande, where he died at dawn today due to a heart attack.
Libardo Simancas, was 71 years old, was a native of Arjona, Bolívar, constitutional lawyer. He was a deputy for Bolívar in several periods and was elected Governor of Bolívar by the Liberal Party in 2004 to 2007.

Gleycy Correia dead at 27 – Former Miss Brazil dies from ‘massive bleeding’ and heart attack after tonsil operation

A BEAUTY queen who was once crowned Miss Brazil has died at the age of 27 after a routine tonsil operation went horribly wrong.
Gleycy Correia, from Macae, south-eastern Brazil, died on June 20 after the operation left her suffering "massive bleeding and a cardiac arrest".
Correia passed away at a private clinic after spending more than two months in a coma after the surgery in April.
Five days after the operation she is reported to have suffered haemorrhage and a heart attack.
And after spending 77 days in a coma, yesterday she sadly died.
The beauty queen had been crowned Miss United Continents Brazil and Miss Costa do Sol in 2018.

Not long ago, sad news emerged related to the Chilean YouTubers scene. It turns out that last Friday, June 24, Fernando Morales, better known as Lad Cobra, died suddenly. The death of the well-known YouTuber in the world of video games, social networks, memes and influencers left all active netizens in Chile dismayed.
The former vocalist of the group La Noche, assured through his social networks, "How fragile is life! Lad Cobra, a great Chilean gamer and influencer, who brought many joys through his character, died. He flies high Cobra God.”
So far, the only information about Lad Cobra's passing was that he died suddenly; product of a sudden heart attack. The sad news came after Lad Cobra confirmed to his followers that he would be back after being very ill.
