Four CCP officials died suddenly within two weeks

According to Da Ji Yuan, from April 27 to May 11, four CCP officials suddenly died, most of them under 60. Since January 2021, more than 40 unnatural deaths of CCP officials have been publicly reported.
The high-ranking officials’ death includes:
Gao Wei, Beijing Shijitan Hospital Vice President, died at 43
Liu Yabin, the police torchbearer of the Beijing Winter Olympics, died at 42
Yu Zhigang, China University of Political Science and Law’s former vice president, died at 49 during his detention.
Liao Guoxun, Tianjin Mayor, died suddenly at 59.

On May 14, Beijing Shijitan Hospital Affiliated published an obituary on its official website, saying that Gao passed away in Beijing at 14:49 on May 11. He suffered a sudden illness during work, and all rescue efforts could not revive him.
According to the Beijing Shijitan Hospital official website, Gao presided over the overall administrative work of the hospital and was responsible for various aspects.
Liu Yabin, the Beijing Winter Olympics police torchbearer.
Liu was the torchbearer for the Beijing Winter Olympics in February. He was one of 176 torchbearers who carried the CCP’s five-star banner during the opening of the Winter Olympics ceremony on February 4.
On May 7, the media reported that Liu died from a sudden illness after working overtime.
Since the outbreak of the CCP virus in early 2020, state media have continued to report premature deaths of police, grassroots civil servants, and medical staff on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control.
The CCP’s internal epidemic prevention workers published a death list on the Internet. There were 329 deaths on the list as of March 17, 2020, including government servants, village officials, police officers, doctors, and nurses. There are 217 CCP members among them. Two hundred forty-nine people died from “overwork,” 25 died from “pneumonia,” 37 died in car accidents, and 18 died from other accidents.

Decomposed body of woman found in flat

Kolkata: Tension spread at a housing complex located on Raja Rammohan Roy road in Behala, after a woman's decomposed body was recovered on Sunday morning. The woman, identified as Kamalika Dasgupta (49), used to stay alone since her father passed away around four years ago. According to sources, Kamalika used to stay aloof since her father's death. Her father Sujit Kumar Dasgupta was a retired employee of Indian oil. Thus, neighbours didn't find anything suspicious even though Kamalika was not seen in the past few days.
On Saturday, her neighbours felt a foul smell. On Sunday, when the smell became stronger the residents of the apartment building inside the said house complex spotted Kamalika's flat. When they tried to call her and rang the door bell repeatedly she did not respond. Behala police station was informed. Later, police broke the door and found Kamalika's decomposed body was lying on her bed. It is suspected that she died due to a sudden cardiac arrest. However, the body has been sent for autopsy.

A day before the district hospital in Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, the body of a missing middle-aged man was found lying near the canal. He was a middle-aged heart patient and was admitted to the hospital four days back. After his disappearance from the hospital there was no trace of him. On receiving the information, the police reached and sent the body for post-mortem. The cause of his death is not yet clear. The matter is of City Kotwali area.
According to the information, Hukum Ratre (57), a resident of Buchi Hardi, Baloda, was admitted to the district hospital on May 17 due to heart related problems. His wife Savitri Bai was present in the hospital as an attender. After three days of treatment, Hukum Ratre suddenly disappeared from the hospital at around 11 am on May 19. After this, family members, hospital staff and security guards searched him a lot, but could not find him.
Meanwhile, the dead body of a middle-aged man was found lying next to the Pilari canal in front of Hasdev Vihar Colony of the city. When the people around saw it, they informed Dial-112. Police reached the spot and got the body identified. This revealed that the body was that of Hukum Ratre. Seeing the dead body, it seemed that he had died on the day of his disappearance. Police say the cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem on Saturday.
After the death of two sons had become addicted to alcohol, the relatives told that Hukum Ratre used to do farming in the village. Everything was going well in the family, meanwhile about 6 years ago his two sons suddenly died. Due to this he became addicted to alcohol. According to family members, Hukum Ratre's elder son Jai Prakash died in an accident at NTPC Sipat. While the younger son Hemant Kumar died due to cancer.

A 67-year-old old man surnamed Wu in Taoyuan, accompanied by his family, went to a pharmacy in Zhongli to line up to buy quick screening. Unexpectedly, during the queue, the old man suddenly fell to the ground and after being rushed to the hospital he was declared dead last night.

Zaw Htay, the spokesman for the President's Office of the NLD-led government and a former military officer, suddenly passed away at around 9 am on 23 May, according to sources close to him.
'A member of his family said he had high blood pressure and [had suffered a] cerebral haemorrhage”, said a source close to his family. The source added that he heard that Zaw Htay also had a heart attack. Zaw Htay was taken to a 1,000-bed hospital in Nay Pyi Taw after suffering a heart attack this morning, but died on the way, junta spokesman Gen. Zaw Min Tun told local news outlets.
Zaw Htay was a graduate of Myanmar’s Defence Services Academy and had worked as a spokesman for the President's Office and the Director General of the State Counsellor’s Office since 2016.
“He collapsed when he woke up this morning. He was rushed to hospital by his colleagues, but he died on the way. I think it was because of a heart attack,” wrote Hla Maung Shwe, a senior advisor to the Myanmar Peace Center, on his social media page.
Zaw Htay was arrested by the junta during the military coup last year, but was released soon after.

Kuala Lumpur - A senior police officer has died in his office at Menara KPJ here on Tuesday (May 17). Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Ashari Abu Samah said the 42-year-old Deputy Supt worked at the Bukit Aman CCID.
"He was reported dead at around 11 pm. No criminal element was found at the scene," he said when contacted on Wednesday (May 18). He said the cause of death was suspected to be a heart attack.
"The body of the officer has been taken to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The case has been classified as sudden death," he said.
Doctor, 37, found dead in hotel room, no foul play suspected

Port Dickson - A 37-year-old doctor was found dead in a hotel room in Pasir Panjang near here. Port Dickson district police chief Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed said a hotel worker first found the female doctor unconscious in her bed around 2 pm on Friday (May 20) and the police were called in.
"A medical assistant from the Pasir Panjang government clinic was then called in and the doctor was certified dead just before 3 pm. Preliminary police probe in her room found no criminal element and the cause of death was established as undetermined," he said in a statement.
Supt Aidi Sham said checks showed that the doctor, who was single, had checked in alone the day before. He said the doctor worked at a paediatric hospital in Petaling Jaya. The case has been classified as sudden death following a post mortem conducted at the PD Hospital on Saturday (May 21).
Former Covid Task Force Spokesman Achmad Yurianto Dies at 60

Jakarta - Achmad Yurianto, the former spokesman of the National Covid-19 Task Force who became the country’s most popular health official during the first few months of the pandemic, died on Saturday after battling cancer for the last few weeks. He was 60 years old.
Achmad was officially appointed spokesman on March 3, 2020, only a day after the government confirmed the first Covid-19 deaths in Indonesia.
He regularly appeared on national televisions to inform the latest figures on new cases and deaths and always ended his briefings with the call for people to remain vigilant and follow public health protocols until he was replaced by a new official four months later.
He also became a key source of information for the media at a time when then Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto was largely out of sight.
Research firm Iconomics named him the PR Official of the Year in May 2020 for spreading “positive news” and courage when the public was being faced with disinformation and confusion about Covid-19.
After leaving the task force, he was appointed by President Joko Widodo to chair the Oversight Board of the national health insurance platform BPJS in February 2021.
Achmad had a spell as a military doctor and left the army as a colonel before joining the Health Ministry in 2015 to head the Public Health Crisis Center.
Earlier this week, Gatot Subroto Army Hospital in Jakarta announced that he was discharged at his own request because he wanted to continue medical treatment in Malang, East Java, where his family resides.
The hospital said he had been treated for colon cancer for several weeks.

The daughter of infamous backpacker murderer Ivan Milat has died suddenly after developing a blood clot. Lynise Milat, who lived on the Central Coast, passed away at Gosford Hospital on Saturday aged 57, The Daily Telegraph exclusively reports.
Her mother Marilyn Milat-Tempest, who had secret trysts with Milat while she was in a separate relationship with his brother Boris, was left distraught. The pair had maintained an affair for 11 years when Lynise was conceived.

'Diamonds on the soles of his shoes': Hawke's Bay master carver dies

Influential Hawke's Bay master carver and artist Hugh Tareha, whose work is visible across the Hawke's Bay landscape, died suddenly on Thursday.
A specialist with native timber, the Ngāti Parau artist's work includes figures shaped from tree stumps beside State Highway 50 at Waiohiki golf course, near where he has been based as a resident artist at Waiohiki Creative Arts Village.
Descendant of paramount Ahuriri chief Tareha Te Moananui, a big feature of his work includes large pou at the historic Otarara Pā site overlooking the Ngaruroro River, the Heretaunga Plains and the city of Napier that developed from inland waterway Te Whanganui a Orotu.
His humble nature was almost as legendary as the carving, and brother-in-law Denis O'Reilly said: "He had the calloused hands of a carver, and diamonds on the soles of his shoes."
He died shortly after a salsa practice in Napier, at the age of 63. There was salsa on Sunday night at Waiohiki Marae, where his final service is to start at 11 am tomorrow.
